William Carlos Williams "apologizes" for eating someone's plums. He ends the poem with the half-hearted apology, "...they were delicious, so sweet..." Do: Write a tongue-in-cheek apology. It need not be in "poetic" form. You're sorry for something, but at the end there's always a reason why you enjoyed doing for which you're expressing sorrow.
