Video Production is a year-long advanced level multimedia class focusing on four, main aspects of video production:

• Planning/Writing
• Shooting
• Editing
• Mastering

Projects include:

• Group and Individual Video Projects
• Weekly HSTV Newscast - Planned, reported, filmed, edited, saved and posted to the Internet
• Film Studies
• Hay Springs Elder Wisdom Video

Given the content and importance to the district and community, deadlines will be non-negotiable. If an assignment is not completed when due, that student will receive a zero. There will be no late grades given nor extra credit offered.

HSTV Newscasts
The HSTV Newscast is back! Video Production students are simultaneously working on other projects and special reports, so expect to see the Newscast  about once a month for the remainder of the year.
