The Rough Draft

As we discussed in class, the weeks of preparation you put into this paper will now pay off. What is expected of you should be easy, assuming you've done your preparation.

Facing the blank page is daunting but you already have an idea of where to start from your last unit, the MLA Project, and your outline. The following links, as we discussed in class, address bad habits and unforeseen problems associated with writing the rough draft. USE THEM TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.

You have plenty of time in class to do this but I advise you to make time outside of class as well. Don't forget to use our old friends, brainstorming and clustering if you run into a writer's block!
